Ascot Green is a joint residential development project with Brisbane Racing Club located in the blue-chip suburb of Ascot in Brisbane. On completion, the project is intended to deliver over 900 apartments situated along the iconic Eagle Farm Racecourse. Mirvac was the main contractor - Demex contractors was awarded the complete shoring works of excavation, piling, shotcrete and steelfixing.

O'Sullivan Ground Engineering was awarded the steelfixing and shotcrete packages for the retention works on SW1 thru SW5 walls by Demex in Sept 2022.

The awarded works included all materials for shotcrete and steelfixing supplied, as well as supplying sub drainage for the client and to their respective spec.

Works commenced in Sept 2022, O'Sullivan Ground Engineering completed up to 300m2 of steelfixing and shotcrete each week in line with the program set by the main client. All shotcrete was finished with a high standard float finish.

O'Sullivan also completed some grouting of pile voids in several locations for the client with a GP cement grout.
